Baby Cham (born Damian Beckett on February 24, 1979, in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica) is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae fusion artist known for his influential role in the early 2000s with his breakthrough single “Ghetto Story,” which propelled him onto international stages and inspired numerous “story”-style songs in the genre.

He first emerged in the late 1990s and gained acclaim with his debut album Wow... The Story and collaborations with notable producers like Dave Kelly, blending dancehall with hip-hop and R&B influences.

Throughout his career he has worked with artists across genres and remained a respected figure in global dancehall for his storytelling and high-energy performances.
